I've said it once and I will say it again. .. I love our school. I love our neighborhood. We are surrounded by amazing people!
Our sweet 4th grade neighbor at the end of our street was diagnosed with leukemia about two weeks ago. It was a shock to everyone to say the least. It is a treatable form of leukemia and after about 7 months of chemo, they are hopeful that she can make a full recovery.
Can you even imagine going through that as a 4th grader? And finding out at this time of year?
Our amazing school receptionist organized some caroling to cheer up sweet Anna Rose. She was delighted to open the door and see all of those happy faces singing their hearts out for her. She has to wear a mask and cannot get near other kids for the foreseeable future, but this had to boost her spirits as she had just arrived home from her first lengthy hospital stay.
Ally & Maddie were at their Brownie meeting so they couldn't participate, but Will & Mia were thrilled to be out there with the big kids and this was their first time caroling.

They were thrilled to see Anna for the first time since her diagnosis. We are praying for her daily and the kids have been drawing pictures and get well cards and struggling hard to understand about this disease. Please keep this sweet family in your prayers in the coming months and ask God to fully heal Anna and restore her strength so she can be outside playing and being a normal 4th grader again before we know it!
